By 1925, the Institute provided a large list of activities that included:

The most popular rooms of the Institute were the large recreation room and canteen, where boys would gather for post event refreshments, having participated in table tennis, billiards and indoor games. Together, these two rooms served ‘as the hub of the social life of the Institute’.
